A.J. Browder is attending UMass Boston. A.J’s mentor John Braga worked at the Boston Public Schools for over a decade and is currently an administrator/educator at the Somerville Public Schools. A.J. says he looks forward to getting “in-person help, step by step” from John. He sees “a clear connection between getting a college education and being financially stable.” John is excited to provide support to A.J. John says “I became a mentor because mentorship played a huge role in my success in college and in transitioning to my career as an educator.”
